Hemp & Cannabis Events Happening in 2021

As the planet slowly wakes up from its more-than-a-year-long slumber, it feels good to see some signs of normalcy returning to various industries, most notable in the live events sector. Whether it's concerts, stand-up shows, Broadway theater performances, and cannabis/hemp events — here at High Hemp, we're glad to see live culture returning — in a big way. 

In one of our previous blogs we talked about some new and exciting hemp cultivars making their entrance in the industry. Let's now turn to talk about some hemp and cannabis-centered events that are burning up our radars for the rest of 2021. As the American roads and airways safely open up, we encourage our readers to get out there, get involved, and have fun!

Here's a selection of cannabis & hemp events happening throughout the U.S.: 

420 Cannabis Fest (Lansing, Michigan - Aug 13-14)

Michigan is all a-buzz after cannabis legalization, and rightfully so! There's many reasons to celebrate: from the opening of new organic grows, to new dispensaries, events and awareness about the wonderful possibilities of the cannabis plant, it's certainly a great time to be a Michigander. 

To underscore that point, Lansing is throwing a festival celebrating cannabis legalization — powered by JARS, and featuring "two days of music, cannabis, and food!" 

Terpdown Throwdown (Spencer Fairgrounds - Spencer, MA - Aug 20-21)

Massachusetts has been enjoying its legal recreational cannabis for some time now, and we're beginning to see much more action in the form of new dispensary openings, and increased community outreach associated with them. We're also seeing the legal cannabis and hemp industry embrace live events as a form of relationship-building and celebration of the cannabis plant. 

Terptown Throwdown is set to be a mellow gathering of music and weed-lovers alike, getting together to shake the cobwebs of those lonely dancing shoes. Musical acts featured: Collie Budz, The Movement, Fortunate Youth, & Iya Terra. 

New Jersey Cannabis Festival (Showboat Hotel, Atlantic City - NJ - Aug 21-22)

In a place that's no stranger to conventions of all shapes, sizes, and industries - New Jersey's Atlantic City (AC) is a perfect location for the gathering of like-minded 'trailblazers.' However, this year is remarkably different after the state legalized adult-use cannabis just a few months ago. 

The New Jersey Cannabis Festival aims to be NJ's premier cannabis culture event, in efforts to bring the community together. 

Kushstock Festival (The Adelanto Stadium & Events Center - Adelanto, CA July 3)

Last, but certainly not least, we've got Adelanto's Kushstock Festival, brought to you by "Dr. K" - the festival features live music, live art, live glassblowing, skaters paradise, ring of fire wrestling, tons of giveaways & much, much more!
