Why Area 51 Green?
Somewhere between the stretch of highway past Rachel, Nevada and the edge of the exclusion zone, our crew stopped at a roadside stand and pulled a bag of the crispest, sourest green apples anyone had ever tasted. Sharp, cool, barely sweet — the kind of flavor you couldn't place and couldn't stop thinking about.
We tried to bottle it. What made it back to Amsterdam became Area 51 Green — our patented naturally-green hemp cone, infused with authentic mild sour apple, finished malus (Latin for “apple,” and also Latin for “bad” — your call which one we meant).
We don't know exactly what we found out there. We're not supposed to say. What we can tell you is that what's in the pack is the real, cool, sour-apple part — minus whatever made our driver quiet for the next two hundred miles.

Most “green” flavored rolling cones are bleached white paper dyed green and painted with synthetic apple flavor. Ours are different on both counts.
Area 51 Green is our patented naturally-green hemp paper (the green is chlorophyll from the plant itself, not a dye) infused with food-grade all-natural mild sour apple extract (the flavor is real, not synthetic). Double the story, half the compromise.

How to Use
- Open the pack — 6 cones inside, tip pre-rolled into each one.
- Fill the open end with your ground herb. Each cone holds around 0.75 g.
- Pack gently with a stick or pen — firm enough to hold shape, loose enough to breathe.
- Fold or twist the paper at the top to close.
- Light from the twist, draw from the tip. The apple notes come through cool and even, all the way down.
- Reseal the pack between uses to keep the flavor sharp.

Is the flavor natural or artificial?
Natural. We use food-grade all-natural apple extract — no synthetic flavorings, no artificial sweeteners, no sugar coatings, no flavor crystals. The flavor is infused into the hemp fiber itself, not painted on the surface.
Where did the name come from?
Somewhere between Rachel, Nevada and the edge of the exclusion zone, our crew found a bag of the sourest, crispest green apples anyone had ever tasted. We bottled what we could. The name is a wink at where the idea came from — close enough to Area 51 that we'll let you draw your own conclusions. The flavor is real apple. The origin story is... flexible.
Is this the same paper as your Original cones?
Yes — identical paper. Our patented naturally-green hemp, flash-dehydrated to preserve the plant's chlorophyll, unbleached and chlorine-free. Area 51 Green is this same paper with natural mild sour apple extract added. Same burn quality, same 1¼ size, same green-to-tan color journey over time.
Does the apple flavor affect the burn?
Not noticeably. Our natural-extract process adds flavor without glycerin, sugar, or added moisture that would change how the paper burns. You get the same slow, even burn as our Original and Maui Mango cones — just with sour apple on the draw.
How long does the flavor stay vivid?
Sealed in the pack, the flavor stays locked in. Once opened, use within about 6 months for peak apple brightness. The flavor doesn't go bad after that, it just mellows. Reseal the pack between uses and store in a cool, dry drawer.
Do they contain CBD or THC?
Our hemp paper may test positive for trace amounts of naturally occurring CBD. Contains less than 0.3% Δ9-THC and is federally compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill.
Are they vegan and GMO-free?
Yes — 100% plant-based, non-GMO European hemp. Our flavoring extracts are also plant-derived. No animal products anywhere. (We are not Non-GMO Project Verified — that's a separate paid certification — but our sourcing is GMO-free.)
How should I store them?
Keep the pack sealed, away from direct sunlight and heat. The flavor stays sharpest in a cool, dry drawer. Sunlight accelerates both chlorophyll oxidation (the paper browns faster) and flavor dulling — keep them in the dark if you want everything at peak.
